Board of Directors Opportunity

Considered to be one of North America's finest concert halls, the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium (TBCA) has been a premier facility in the City of Thunder Bay since 1985, showcasing state of the art sound, lighting and theatre systems. TBCA provides a venue for diverse local, national and international performances as well as a venue for many non-performance events such as graduations, conferences and presentations. TBCA is proud to offer exceptional customer experience, provide quality product and services, and be a collaborative partner within the City of Thunder Bay.

 

We are currently seeking individuals to fill vacancies on our volunteer Board of Directors. Board members must be able to:

• Actively support the mission, vision and values of TBCA
• Provide effective stewardship
• Regularly attend Board and committee meetings
• Work productively as a member of a deliberative group
• Respect opinions of others and articulate ideas clearly
• Provide strategic guidance in a changing environment
• Demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas; business management, business development, finance, human resources, marketing, quality and safety, communications and public relations, legal

TBCA is seeking applicants who share a passion for enriching our community through performing arts and culture. Previous board experience and background in business development, finance, marketing and/or human resource experience is beneficial.
