From their modest beginnings in New England's hardcore scene to their current status as one of the most influential and inspirational forces in modern music, Killswitch Engage have played by these three simple rules. Killswitch has been gaining a huge fan-base with its albums, which are described as “more addictive than crack cocaine that’s been smothered in nicotine and drenched with chocolate”. They are able to balance soaring choruses with a clear handle on melody that takes the bands steps ahead of many other groups in the metal scene. All the members of this band bring to it a respectability and integrity that collectively has made a mark on bands throughout the heavy music scene.
